Mercury retrograde in 2023 is a time to dig deep, examine what actually matters to you, release old patterns and people that no longer serve you, and tie up loose ends. This is your opportunity to get crystal clear with yourself and your desires. If you’re not certain what your next steps are, now is the perfect time to examine where you’re stuck. It’s a time when your intuition is elevated, and consequently you have a stronger sense of what you need to do to advance your life.

Ask Yourself

Here are some questions to ask yourself during any Mercury retrograde:

  • How am I really?

  • What’s going well?

  • Where do I need to pay more attention?

  • Am I acting in alignment with my highest self?

  • What unfinished business do I need to address for my growth?

While in general we should be better about checking in with ourselves, Mercury retrograde is a wonderful time to be introspective. Freedom lies in venturing deep into our shadows. Taking a look at ourselves and identifying all B.S. that is keeping us stuck. It takes courage to lean into your shadow work, acknowledge the pieces of yourself that are self-sabotaging, and seek the tools to help you understand and integrate them. Keep making changes from a place of peace, love, compassion, and empathy. You’re doing great.
